The TATN website is Speech Enabled!

You can have the web pages on the TATN site read aloud. Words and sentences will be highlighted as it reads. You can control how the website is read.

In order to use the available screen reader on TATN you will need to download a small firewall-friendly file allowing access.

Choose the "click here to get the plug-in" above. Then click on the orange rectangle with the arrow and blue target. Follow the directions to download and run the file.
How to use the web page reader:
There are two ways in which you can read text aloud. You can read it aloud using:

1) mouse hovering - you use mouse hovering to read aloud text on web pages and PDF documents

2) text selections - you use text selections to read aloud text on web pages, and PDF and Microsoft Word documents

To read aloud a PDF document: double click on the PDF icon in the System Tray.

To stop reading, click the Control button. Click Control again to continue reading.
